Pixel Pause on Steam

The game itself collects no personal data and sends nothing to us. Your progress and settings are stored on your computer.

The game uses Steam, operated by Valve Corporation: Steam checks which content you own (for example DLC) and, if you have Steam Cloud enabled, keeps a copy of your saved progress in your Steam account. This is governed by Valve's own privacy policy: store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement. We receive only the aggregated sales and usage reports Valve provides to all developers.

Pixel Pause apps for Android

Our free Android apps are financed by advertising and use two services:

Google AdMob (advertising)

Ads are delivered by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). Before any ad is loaded, you are asked for your consent through Google's consent form; you can change your choice at any time in the app's settings under "Privacy settings". With your consent, Google may use your device's advertising ID and other device information to show personalised ads; without it, only non-personalised ads are shown. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for non-personalised ads, our legitimate interest in financing the free app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

TelemetryDeck (anonymous usage statistics)

To see how the apps are used - for example how many pictures are started and finished - the apps send anonymous usage signals to TelemetryDeck GmbH (Germany). They contain no name, email or advertising ID: the device is identified only by a salted, one-way hashed identifier that cannot be traced back to you. Signals include the app version, device model, operating system, language, region and time zone, and in-game events such as a picture finished or a setting changed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the apps (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

Progress and settings are stored on your device only. Google Play may additionally process data under Google's own terms when you install or rate the app.
